This report will review vendors that have developed compelling working capital solutions for either payables discount management or supply chain finance. PayStream Advisors defines dynamic payables discounting the application of discounting services to open account trade payables. Dynamic discounts are those which typically arise outside of contracted discount terms and are 'dynamic' by virtue of a) the transaction system s ability to calculate a discount dynamically based on the number of days remaining before the invoice due date or b) the ability of the supplier to discount an individual invoice at any time before the payment date.

Dynamic Discount Management also called early payment discount management - offers a viable alternative for supplier financing while providing buyers with a new income stream. Buyers have the ability to configure discount parameters for each supplier based on a number of factors. Suppliers have the flexibility to choose to discount any or all of the receivables at any time up to the original maturity date. Buyers receive a portion of the finance charges incurred by suppliers, which is very similar to rebates received on purchasing card transactions. The report concludes with analytical insights that will help the reader compare and contrast across all of the vendors and solutions.
